How to Connect
Create a blog in Shopify
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Blog Posts. If no blog exists, click "Manage blogs" to create one (e.g., "News" or "Blog").
Connect Cited
In your Cited dashboard, go to Integrations → Click "Shopify" → Enter your store domain (yourstore.myshopify.com) and authorize.
Select your blog
After authorization, choose which blog on your store to publish articles to.
Start publishing
Your AI-generated articles will be published directly to your Shopify blog. Choose draft or published mode in your settings.
Requirements
- A Shopify store (any plan)
- At least one blog created in Online Store → Blog Posts
- Store owner or staff account with content permissions

Choose a blog-friendly theme
Themes like Dawn, Craft, or Studio have excellent blog layouts with proper typography and spacing.
Customize the blog post template
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → Blog post template to adjust fonts, spacing, and layout width.
Set readable typography
Use 16–18px body text with 1.6–1.75 line height. Set H2 to 24–28px bold and H3 to 20–22px semi-bold.
Style your links
Ensure links have a distinct color (blue or your brand color) and are underlined so readers can identify clickable text.
Enable tags
Tags help organize your articles and aid in content discovery. Enable tag display in your blog post template settings.
